ACT Prep — Online & Barcelona

Master the ACT.

Speed. Strategy. Score.

The ACT rewards pace and pattern recognition. We train timing discipline, calculator strategy, and Science reasoning so every section feels manageable — not a race against the clock.

Expert tutors · Personal attention

Learn from experienced expert tutors who actually raise scores.

The biggest difference between a good score and a great one is who teaches you. Our tutors bring decades of experience and the kind of one-to-one attention a tutoring platform simply cannot match.

Seasoned subject experts

You are taught by experienced specialists with deep subject and exam knowledge — never a rotating roster of part-time college students.

The same tutor, every session

Consistency that compounds. Your tutor learns how you think, remembers your weak spots, and builds on them week after week.

Genuine personal attention

1-on-1 and small groups only. Every lesson is built around you and your target score — not a packed classroom pace.

Not a content dump. A pacing system that raises scores.

Most ACT courses teach topics. We train speed, strategy, and section management — because on the ACT, knowing the material is only half the battle.

⏱️

Pacing-first, not content-first

Most students lose ACT points to the clock, not to knowledge gaps. We start with a timed diagnostic to find where you leak minutes — then fix pacing before layering harder content.

👤

1-on-1 expert coaching

Every session is with Suneel Gupta — 30+ years of teaching experience, not a rotating roster of tutors. You get consistent, expert-level coaching that adapts to how you learn.

🔬

Science section mastery

The ACT Science section is not about memorising biology or chemistry — it is about reading graphs, interpreting experiments, and resolving conflicting viewpoints under pressure. We train that skill directly.

📊

Composite-goal weekly plans

Your composite target drives everything. We track section scores, error patterns, and pacing splits weekly — so you know exactly where your next points are coming from.

From diagnostic to test day

A structured path that turns your current composite into your target composite.

1

Free diagnostic consultation

Book a free 15-minute call. We discuss your target composite, timeline, and whether the ACT or SAT is the better fit for your profile.

2

Full-length timed diagnostic

Take a complete ACT practice test under real timing conditions. We analyse every answer and measure where you lose time — not just where you lose points.

3

Custom study plan

Receive a week-by-week plan built around your composite goal. Pacing drills, content gaps, and section-specific strategies — all tied to your test date.

4

Expert coaching sessions

Weekly 1-on-1 or small-group sessions. We build speed through drills, fix error patterns, and train the triage decisions that separate a 28 from a 32.

5

Test-day readiness

By exam day you have rehearsed every section under real timing, practised calculator discipline, and built a pacing plan you trust.

Drill it. Time it. Prove it.

Three tiers of practice — from surgical skill work to full test-day simulation. Quality problems in real volume, not busywork.

🎯

Topic Drills

Isolate one skill at a time

Focused sets of 10-20 questions targeting a single content area or question type. Geometry weak? Fifteen problems, increasing difficulty, timed review. We isolate the gap so the fix is precise.

Includes

  • Algebra & functions drill
  • Graph interpretation set
  • Trigonometry speed round
  • Conflicting viewpoints focus
150+ curated sets
⏱️

Section Drills

Build stamina under real timing

Full-section timed practice — 60 questions in 60 minutes for Math, 40 questions in 35 minutes for Science. This is where pacing instincts form. You learn when to move on, when to guess, and how to manage energy.

Includes

  • ACT Math full section (60 q, 60 min)
  • ACT Science full section (40 q, 35 min)
  • English section under pressure
  • Back-to-back section simulation
40+ timed sections
📋

Mock Exams

Full test-day simulation

Complete ACT practice tests — all sections, real timing, real breaks. The only way to know your true composite range is to rehearse the full experience, not just pieces of it.

Includes

  • Official ACT practice tests
  • 4S Academy curated full-lengths
  • Science-heavy emphasis mocks
  • Final-week dress rehearsal
8+ full-length tests

Every tier feeds into the same structured feedback loop ↓

The 4S Debrief

Practice alone builds familiarity. Practice plus the 4S Debrief builds scores.

After every drill — topic, section, or mock — your tutor runs a structured review that turns mistakes into your next score jump. This is not a glance at a score report. It is a protocol.

Drill

You practise under real conditions

Every drill mirrors the real ACT: timed, section-tagged, pacing-tracked. No casual practice — every set has a purpose and a clock.

Diagnose

Every error is classified by type

Your tutor sorts each wrong answer into one of four categories: concept gap (you did not know this), method error (you knew it but applied it wrong), careless slip (misread, miscalculated), or pacing miss (ran out of time). Each type gets a different fix.

Design

Your next session is built from today's data

Concept gaps become teaching targets. Method errors become worked-example drills. Careless slips become accuracy protocols. Pacing misses become timing exercises. Nothing is left to chance.

Your tutor tracks these patterns across every session — not an algorithm, a person who knows your tendencies, your timing habits, and exactly where your next 2 composite points are hiding.

ACT Math

Algebra through early precalculus — speed and calculator discipline matter as much as content.

Questions
60
Time
60 min

On the test

  • Heavy weighting on algebra, functions, and geometry; fewer items at the very top of precalculus depth.
  • You may use an approved calculator on every question — strategic use beats brute-force key tapping.
  • No formula sheet: you must recognise standard results and when to backsolve from answer choices.

With us: We run pacing ladders and trap archetypes so the section feels like a repeatable process, not a speed lottery.

ACT Science

Reasoning with passages, graphs, and experiments — not a deep memorisation exam in biology or chemistry.

Questions
40
Time
35 min

On the test

  • Data representation, research summaries, and conflicting viewpoints — often the fastest wins are structural.
  • Prior topic knowledge helps at the margins; most items reward reading the setup correctly under time pressure.
  • Roughly 53 seconds per question on average — triage and skip discipline are trainable.

With us: We teach graph-first scanning, viewpoint mapping, and when to invest in a hard passage vs move on — so composite goals stay realistic.

Common questions

Should my child take the ACT or the SAT?

It depends on their profile. The ACT rewards speed and breadth — students who work quickly and handle a wider range of topics tend to do better. The SAT rewards depth and analytical thinking. We offer dual diagnostics so you can compare real scores before committing to either test.

Do you cover all four ACT sections?

Our core strength is ACT Math and Science reasoning — the sections where most STEM-oriented students gain the most points. We also coach English and Reading strategies, and cover all four sections in our full ACT programme.

How long does ACT prep usually take?

Most students work with us for 8-14 weeks, depending on their starting composite and target. We can design intensive programmes for shorter timelines, but recommend at least 8 weeks for durable improvement.

What calculator can I use on the ACT?

The ACT allows approved calculators on the entire Math section — unlike the SAT, which has a no-calculator portion. We train strategic calculator use: knowing when a calculator helps, when it slows you down, and how to avoid keystroke errors under pressure.

How is the ACT scored?

The ACT gives 1-36 scores for each section, and your composite is the average of all section scores. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so we train students never to leave a question blank.

Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

Both. We offer 1-on-1 and small-group sessions online worldwide and in-person at our Barcelona centre. Most international students work with us online with excellent results.

What makes ACT Science different from school science?

ACT Science is not a knowledge test — it tests your ability to read graphs, interpret experimental designs, and evaluate conflicting scientific arguments under time pressure. Prior science knowledge helps at the margins, but the core skill is data reasoning, and that is trainable.
